RE: Help With Laptop.

I'm not a big tech guy, but I had a similar problem when trying to install 
Redhat 9 to my work computer here in the Philippines. The install would 
start booting up, then I would get a black screen. The way I got around it 
was to keep pressing <control  alt  +>until it found a screen resolution it 
liked, then I was able to install. for some reason Redhat 9 doesn't seem to 
like the higher resolutions during install. Hope this helps!
