Re: booting linux on a dual-os system

I have been running both linux and windows xp on my machine. The
two installed in two separate partitions. Just recently I had to
reinstall xp (of course in its own partition.) When you install
xp, unlike linux, it rudely removes all non-Windows entries in
the C:\boot.ini file; so when i boot my machine now i only have
one choice, and that's the xp. in the c:\boot.ini, the relevant
entry looks like this now:
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(0)\WINDOWS="MS Windows XP Prof."

I remember before the reinstall, there was a similar line
corresponding to the linux OS, which is now missing. That
line/entry is what I'm looking for.
