RE: Linux-based voice mail system wanted

I have been looking at this in the abstract too.

There is a program called asterix (as I recall) but it depends upon cards 
to be installed.  The cost of the cards is in excess of the cost of buying 
a Chinese (pabx) for me, but I do not know enough about telephones to know 
if it is adaptable to work as voice mail with a regular pabx.
