RE: Linux-based voice mail system wanted

Hi Graham,

Thanks, you and Bjorn both gave me the interesting and helpful lead to
Asterix.  I asked a (senior) friend at Cisco Systems if he had any knowledge
of it, and he told me that "it is a competitive product to Cisco Call
Manager" so I guess that puts Asterix in good company.

I'm disheartened by your suggestion that the hardware necessary may make a
good FOSS solution prohibitively expensive.  I guess that the Chinese PBX
doesn't do all that clever IP stuff though.  Hrm.  Will ask for quotes from
Hong Kong and report back to the list.
