FEDORA CORE 2 & VMWare

After two nights of downloading it over bittorrent I finally got it
installed last night.
Unfortunately VMWare doesn't support FC2 - the installation fails because
the headers are in a non-standard location. I have pointed it to the correct
location, but it still doesn't find them.
Anyone had any better luck?
Glyn
