ZeroC, Inc. is pleased to announce the availability of the Internet Communications Engine (Ice), version 1.5.0, and the Ice for PHP (IcePHP) extension, version 1.1.1. Changes in Ice since version 1.4.0 include: - A new native implementation of Ice in C#, supported for both .NET and Mono. - Several new chapters in the documentation describing Ice for C#. - A redesigned IcePack deployment facility. - Support for AIX 5.2 with the VisualAge 6.0 C++ compiler. - Numerous other improvements and bug fixes. Only minor changes were made in IcePHP since version 1.1.0 and primarily involve compatibility with the latest releases of Ice and PHP.
