Re: linux in China

Hello,

The Chinese "government" gets more credit than is properly due to it.
Many Chinese government websites only work effectively with MSIE.  The 
software that is mandatory to print receipts only runs on Windows etc etc.

I think that you will also find that there is a very, very, short list 
of contributions originating in China back into gpl software.

The operations of OSDL may assist in changing some of this.
