There is a nice web manager add-on for SME for WebDAV and VPN and RSYNC.

Take your pick and all is automatic and seamless.  I use RSYNC for this.

Web Dav can also provide a nice "drag and drop" web interface as well as
a local drive mount.

Also - you could use a couple of CISCO PIX 501's for an even more
streamlined and reliable system - they do run at about 4,000 rmb each.
But for what they do - they are GREAT value.  And easy to setup, either
IOS or webmanager.
