Ubuntu Support Job

Hi Bluggers,

I met a very nice Officer at the Italian Embassy who is using Ubuntu on his private office and home network, in defiance of the Italian Embassy regulations. He is quite a pleasant old man in need of help with some printing and internet chat trouble shooting, as well as setting up a file share in his network which will sync between home and office.

I told him my company would not be best suited for him but perhaps a BLUG member willing to work for a few hundred RMB per hour might be interested, then the Professor could ask that person a lot of questions and have a regular relationship with someone. He is very interested in learning more and wants more than just support, he wants to learn about Linux.

If you can help please email me off the BLUG list and will give you contact details. It is a minimum of 4 to 6 hours of work with potential long term cooperation. it is always good to know Embassy officers as well ;)
