no hands-on experience here, but I felt John Goertzen's blog
http://changelog.complete.org/posts/455-Asterisk-At-Work.html is quite
informative and contains a range of pointers including where he bought
(in the US) and where to ask. Most interesting to me though was the info
on how to include existing POTS equipment in a cost-effective way...
