80% of the C++ linux programmers I know use vim.  The other 20% use  
emacs.

I looked (briefly) at Eclipse a couple years ago.  A the time, it has  
some C++ plug-ins that I wasn't able to make work.  It might be  
usable now.

I am interested in better C++ development tools.  If you find a good  
solution, please do share with the BLUG!
