Hi,

Big thanks for all the replies, friend got convinced that RMB2000 is
not too much and I got convinced that the service provider was not
actually cheating her, since as it occurred the disk does not report
to OS whatsoever and makes a whole lot of demonic noises, so most
likely the fatal reset damaged much more than just the file system.
