What about on other browsers or standards?

I mean, when I did a lot of work for knowledge management applications,
one of the biggest issues was with indexing and spidering of non-english
pages.

Using UTF made it easier as we on;y coded for that and it didn't matter
if we were using a multi-byte character table or not...
