By your definition the following are rent seekers:

* Salesmen: But just try to move your product without them.

* Stock brokers: But without a market, nothing would sell.

* Ebay: But without it buyers and sellers would never meet.

* Domainers: We provide a market for domains that otherwise would have
  been taken by some dweeb sitting in mommy's basement.

But Ron, let's hear how *you* make a living, and your tremendous
contribution to society and the economy.
