Hello all, I am relatively new to Calgary and saw CLUG just recently (end of last year). I was excited because I looked for contacts in that direction. I was disappointed when I found our website: no updates for a long time. So I joined this mail list and read something like 'this club is dying' which I do not hope! Is the group missing ideas of what to talk about? Ask your members (BTW: how many are we?). Exactly that happened at an AGM in another group I am a member of. Guess what: Ideas of ideas were shouted to the execs, it was awesome. Can our execs organize some speakers with interesting topics, probably new developments? One idea: Ubuntu on Win10 - does it really work (just my two cents). And my last point: clean up internal stuff _internal_, not on this mailing list, but do it. The question of bringing <no matter what> up to date is no question at all. I would love to join and meet this group physically because Linux is fun! And problems to solve is way easier in a group (I prefer a 'real' meeting). Just my two cents. Keep up your work! Frank On 2016-04-18 4:26 PM, Mel Walters wrote: > Fun?
