I am using new linux distros. How much is this going to be a problem in compatibility with using an old laptop. I am also open to returning this and getting something that is not going to be a problem. I just don't have a lot of time to sort this out. Can someone give me some suggestions on a good laptop that would work for linux distros. I was thinking of something up to $800 that would be a good solution. Something that is fairly compact that I could carry in a packsack, fairly durable. Would consider something used that is fairly recent.
