Agreed.  I'm thinking PHPNuke looks pretty good unless people have
thoughts against it.  It's even got a pretty simple system for add-on
modules (like the mailing list subscriber I want to add).

So everyone knows:

About a month or two ago CLUG purchased the domain clug.ca (since the
current domain is a bit of a mouth full and we wanted ctntrol over the
domain).  Our thoughts were to build the new clug site on that domain
and then do a "rebranding" to clug.ca.

Right now on clug.ca was my attempt at setting up and playing with
PHPNuke.  So far I think it's pretty much what we could want.  Nice and
configurable, easily extensible, etc.

I've setup an admin account so you all can play with it:

See what you all think but I think news page is good and addons like
forums, FAQ generators, etc are going to be very handy.  If we do go
with this I think most of our work will be designing a good looking CLUG
theme, configuring the site, and moving over content. =20

We are certainly open to other ideas of course.  I'm still kind of
partial to a bunch of static pages and a Makefile :)

A fine idea.  Once we start passing around admin passwords, etc we
