[DLC]Regular Events?

Hey everybody, I've been subscribed to this list for a while and haven't seen much activity. I just realized there is a second ML, so I subscribed to that one too. However, I'm wondering if DLC has any regular meetings (IRL or IRC). I'm getting involved with the Ubuntu Chicago LoCo and it'd be great if I could get more involved with DLC as well. I'm a Psych major, so I don't have a ton of knowledge with computer programming, but I'm trying to learn basic Python and I'm working on getting into Ubuntu's BugControl team. tl;dr: The DLC website doesn't show any events. Is this because the group is largely inactive?
