Hi dlc@,

I've been talking to Aaron White, a student in CDM, who is trying
to kick start what I'm effectively calling DePaul TV, though that
may be inexact. I've pointed him at ostn.tv, which I think may be
what he's looking to make use of. However, in the off chance that
he wants to do something unique, different or just take advantage
of a new research center I'm working in, he may be looking for
someone that is a good web developer type and something about unix,
ssh and apache (my list of basics).

Knowing unix means being able to do some basic sysadmin work or
having an idea of what needs to installed/configured, since I have
a funny feeling I would end up having to do some of this. Knowing
ssh means you know how to do pub key authentication. Knowing apache
is probably the least critical thing, but that would be helpful too.
Advanced web dev skills is probably the most useful.

In other words, if you could build a better Youtube site, Aaron may
want to talk to you.

If this sounds like something up your alley, track down Aaron or shoot
me a note offline and I'll put you in touch. Oh... and there is no
pay for this, only fame (hah), practice and whatever bs you feel OK
about putting on your resume.

John
