[DLC]IORC bluedaemons mailing list

Hi folks,

Sorry for the extra noise in your inbox, but I think it's relevant if
you're on one of these three mailing lists I wanted to reach (CSS, DLC
and sec-daemons).  For some time we (me and my DePaul research and
operations-focused friends) have been busy building the Internet
Operations Research Center (IORC), which ultimately might just end up
becoming an extension of the new Center for Advanced Network Studies
(CANS) in CDM.

You may have been exposed to some of the IORC-related efforts already
by way of the "network challenges" I setup for the TDC 375 classes, but
available more widely or you may have seen IORC referenced in the IPv6
workshop in late September.

I invite you to join the bluedaemons mailing list where discussion of
Internet operations related research is the theme.  I suspect many of
you might be interested in the topics, but note that the list is
moderated to help keep the discussion on point.  Obviously keep the
topics relevant to CSS, sec-daemons and DLC where they are, but if it
has something to do with Internet operations, we may be interested in
it over here:

Check the archives to get a sense for what is relevant fodder for the
