I use ubuntu because somewhere around September  of 2006 I decided I was
done fiddling with settings and I just wanted my distro to work the first
time I installed it without having to know too much about all the parts of
it.

Ubuntu has had its ups and downs since, but overall it holds up pretty well
to that test.
