RMS is a completely off his rockers.  He had a great vision in his
day, but his view
of reality is very flawed, and his freedom in unrealistic in this day in ag=
e.

He also lacks common social tact, can come off very rude, and a few
other adjectives
I'll refrain from using.

I respect his ideas and what he started, but of late I think he does
more damage to
the FLOSS movement then good.

FSF has also been working on their own kernel and hasn't managed to to rele=
ase
a stable version to date:  http://www.gnu.org/software/hurd/hurd.html

Linus is attributed with creating linux, even RMS doesn't question
that, he simply wants
credit for his contribution to helping the movement my citing his gnu
toolkits involvement.

That being said, he's a great showman.. and you might be interested on
going and getting
baptized in the church of the fsf or whatnot.
