Hi,

I have a similar setup, but I use imap and imapfilter - it's worked well
for me. One of the reasons I like this setup is it separates the act of
filtering mail from the specific mail client I'm using. This means I can
seamlessly switch from kmail to thunderbird to mutt, etc, without having to
re-write my mail filtering rules (which are extensive) every time.
