I used to think that I would not need a phone, laptop AND tablet. Until I realised the different screen sizes and degrees of portability provided plenty of flexibility depending on the circumstances. I learn7t of various apps for different situations, be that at home on my wifi network, work, or travelling. Largest screen size you can tolerate on a phone increases its usability. I have a 5" phone, 10" tablet and (unsure size) laptop, love them and make frequent use of them all. Sure, battery life is different from past generation phones, it is not onerous to put on a charger each night, get a spare battery or have a charger in your car.
