Interesting.

You could do a traceroute to a server you normally have access to and
see where it stops.

Unfortunately, getting any real technical help from an ISP is a PITA,
e.g. I've had emails rejected because the IP address I sent from was
blacklisted by spamhaus --- when I asked Slingshot to fix this, their
answer was 'we don't do business with that company.' WTF!

BTW, I haven't noticed any outages at that time, maybe I should set up a
cronjob and test it out ...
