Well

sudo mkfs.vfat -c -n MYSTICK -v -I /dev/sdc

did not work.  It formatted the stick, I can read it, but atthe
Warehouse it did not reject the stick, just sat spinning wheels.

Dropping the -I parameter gets me to:

$ sudo mkfs.vfat -c -n MYSTICK -v  /dev/sdb
mkfs.fat 3.0.26 (2014-03-07)
mkfs.vfat: Device partition expected, not making filesystem on entire
device '/dev/sdb' (use -I to override)

(Incidentally is there any way to predict where a stick will mount?  I
have to mount it with Nautalis then use the mount command then unmount
it.  Crazy)


Using gparted I tried to create two partitions but it would not let me,
long booring story.  I am a bit stuck....
