But, I do agree that the subject wording is a bit on the strong side, although
perhaps understandable considering the expectations of FOSS and
GNU/Linux.

Debian stable is aimed at servers, if you want later software run
testing or even unstable. After all, its easy to forget that Ubuntu is
actually just another Debian derivative.

It will be a sad day when issues can't be discussed openly and without
any fear of retribution. Some people actually run Linux because it is
not led by decisions made in some board room.
