Not an accurate comparison. All your examples involving exchanging
currency for goods or services for payment have an implicit contract -
something that has been agreed upon in advance by both parties.
Artists who create commissioned work will be under similar
expectations - the work must be suitable for display, not smell like
horse poo, etc.

Something more accurate would be: Steve takes a nice photo of a
sunset, and makes it available online for free. Jess downloads it, and
emails Steve "Your photo sucks, you have no talent. I demand a better
photo at high resolution by tomorrow so I can hang it in my business
to impress my clients. In future please consult with me before taking
photos so I can have direct input into your process". What do you
think Steve will say?
