From an end user with 20+ machines running Ubunbtu 12.04 - I love it! Not sure of the technical accuracy of the details of above email but having an os that students and myself can easily install, connect and use is most gratifying. Thanks to Canonical for developing such a user friendly OS. Being "Open" minded - we try other FOSS flavours, Unity makes others seem either clunky, dated or complicated. I also think that discussions that look to the merits or otherwise of FOSS need to happen in these open type forums even if at times the language we use gives offence.
