Re: Thunderbird + Lightning for sorting your social life

Unfortunately both Thunderbird and Lightning have been flakier than 
normal for the last couple of releases,  perhaps the release cycle is 
(was) too quick for the engineers.  The following are the most common 
problems we're seeing in the workplace:

Thunderbird appearing several times on the taskbar at startup, this may 
be on Windows clients only: Click File, Close, until are all gone.   
Effected about 20 of 200 installations that we know of so far, this is a 
known bug.

Lightning read-only issue: delete the contents of 
\Thunderbird\calendar-data, start TB and it will reload all the 
calendars again and the read-only issue is gone.  Effected about 5 of 
20-30 Lightning installations so far, I do not know if this bug is logged.

Other than the above, using the Zimbra backend it's been working great.
