Prevent logout if there's stopped jobs ...

Hi,

It drives me nuts when I have a job in the background (normally a
suspended vim) and I hit Ctrl-D to log out, I'm told that I have stopped
jobs but another Ctrl-D (purely out of habit) logs me out and kills
those processes.

Does anyone have a bright idea that would solve this? E.g. I'd like it
to be able to say "You have stopped jobs - use 'exit -f' to force a
logout". I use bash.

This is someone else having the same problem:
http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/40678/can-i-make-there-are-stopped-jobs-harder-to-kill

I don't use screen or tmux but I don't think they would solve the
problem either.

Cheers,

- Bob -
