Problemas con Mandriva y disco USB

Saludos, Tengo un disco duro USB y el Mandriva lo detecta, pero al 
ingresar al disco me da un error de lectura y no me permite ingresar. 
Otras versiones de Linux como Kanoppix o Suse 9 lo pueden leer.
