aticonfig tvout

Alguno de ustede ha podido hacer que la salida de television le salga a color con el aticonfig?

ya tengo configurado el escritorio extendido horizontal puravida, como sifuera XP pero la imagen en el tv me sale en blanco y negro, ya he intentado poner en el modulo device

este problema antes me pasaba en windows con una  nvidia y lo solventaba poniendo formato compuesto y ya me salia a color la pantala del televisor, pienso que debe ser parecido en este caso pero no he podido encontrar nada, ya he buscado en google y en foros pero solo habla de configurar el ati-glrx y el aticonfig
hay un programa el atitvout lo baje pero no me funciono :-(

el televisor lo tengo conectado a la computadora con un adaptador s-video a compuesto, y en la entrada del televisor escojo video,pero no se como decirle al aticonfig que use o s-video o compuesto
