ver la situacion de red

Hola a todos

Tengo un Red Hat y un internet por ADSL.

Mi pregunta es como puedo ver el estado de la utilizacion de la red, 
tengo las luces del modem y ADSL parpadeando mucho y nadie esta usando 
la red.
