how to instalar ubuntu en una netbook

Hola gente soy usuario de ubuntu ultimate 2.1 x32bits y quisiere saber como
hago para instalarlo a mi netbook desde la usb key,
es lo siguiente yo entr=E9 a create a USB startup disk y lo pas=E9 al mi us=
b
key, despues de eso reinicie
y a la hora de entrar al men=FA del boot le doy en la opci=F3n boot desde l=
a usb
y se pone una pantalla negra y me dice que le hace falta la imagen de kerne=
l
, y no arranca y se devuelve a winshit que es el OS que trae por default
Ayudemne porfa lo m=E1s r=E1pido posible, porque estoy usando winshit (save=
