Have you had a look on trademe? Some good deals can be found there,
considering the price of new laptops is so cheap, the price of second
hand ones had gone through the floor.

Something with second hand laptops is that as a rule most of the
batteries are either dead or well on their way out, so you may have to
look at replacing the battery if its more than a year or so old.
