Hello everyone I realise this is off topic for a Linux group, however also know there's some knowledgeable people here! I've got an AMD Athlon XP computer which had a hard drive failure about 18 months ago. It was my main machine until then. I replaced the hard drive with two others, and fiddled a bit but have never really used it. Now I want to upgrade the memory and install WinXP on it, however I see this is not quite as simple as I'd thought, because my disk is 2002 and doesn't include any service packs. I've been reading about slip streaming, and probably could manage it, but wonder if anyone has a disk they can lend? I do have an activation key for my disk, but it's attached to the computer. Any suggestions appreciated. Many thanks Rose -- "We don't see things as they are, we see things as we are." Anais Nin ~ ~ ~ Registered Linux User No: 386597 http://counter.li.org
