To: Hawke's Bay Linux User Group <[email protected]> Rose At Fraser's suggestion I went into PC Xchange and bought a hdd enclosure, today. $45 for USB. They're selling for less than $10 on TradeMe. How good could they be? Anyway . . . Andrew had a few LCD screens around that he was repairing. He showed me a capacitor that he'd removed from one. He said many of the screens he was fixing had the same problem: blown capacitors. He also remarked that a few dollars of new capacitors from Jaycar was all it took to fix them. That story inevitably leads to: ask Andrew which brands he never sees, requiring capacitor replace- ments? (I presume he'd tell you) Perry _______________________________________________ Thanks Perry Who is andrew? Is he on the list? I've seen an AOC 18.5" on TradeMe fro $155 plus packaging which sounds pretty good.
