You would connect via a Direct IP connection to your external IP (it
wont show up in the autodiscover list of course if you are on the
other side of the internet). I assume you have a standard asdl
modem/router handling the requests, in which case you would need to
login to its web interface and forward the VNC port (port 5900 by
default) to the PC you have your VNC server listening on. You should
then be able to connect by pointing your VNC client directly at your
external IP
