NTP has a sanity barrrier of between 900 and 1000 seconds IIRC. It won't make anychanges if your clock is further out than that. This means it is up to your computer to have up to date daylight savings data built in. This data for linux was available since the first year of our new daylight savings schedule. This leads me to wonder is your computer up to date? Search tz database for more info. -- Michael
