​Are you using the Sublime-Text-git plugin? For SSH, it should work out of
the box if your SSH keys are set up in Github (which should be the case
since you are able to do it from the folder). What error are you getting?

I am not sure if storing credentials is possible for the HTTPS method is
possible, but even if it is - storing the password in cleartext is very
in​secure.
