Rupee Symbol - Real Requirement!

I did something wrong in hurry while sending previous emails and I cant see
them in the latest digest I received.
Many people replied in the mean time.
Hence I am writing this fresh post clarifying any questions:

Only Arun understood the real requirement correctly.

   1. I am not looking for any software based solution to configure a
   keymap.
   2. I am also not looking for the keyboard shortcut using which I can
   type rupee symbol.

I am aware about above two methods. I know that as a final solution I will
have to follow one of the above method.

I am looking for how to directly use Rupee symbol on my TVS keyboard, as I
would do with $ sign using "Shift + 4", without any software configuration.
Since I want to do this on my Centos and Ubuntu, I am seeking help from
ILUGC.
