Moreover that book is not at all restricted. So what we can do?

Yes, I used PCTeX 5.1 to generate the pdf.

Prentice-Hall gave the copyright back to me, so I own it. The
electronic version has been free since about 2001. You can use it
personally, make copies for a class, make hard copies and sell them
for a profit, take my name off and put yours on, or anything else you
would like.

Give me a link to a pdf generator that you think might work, and I
will see what  I can do.
