Hi all,

I am trying connect my bsnl modem using wvdial. It is CDMA device. In
gnome network manager it is detecting it as GSM 3G modem. So I tried
with wvdial. Sometimes it connects but sometime it does not. It shows
waiting for carrier indefinitely. Also I am forced run wvdialconf at
every time, because whenever I reconnect the modem the port will
change.

This problems <https://www.centos.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3D26581>
seems to be similar to mine.

The usb_modeswitch -c /etc/usb_modeswitch.conf returns the following messag=
e.

" No default vendor/product ID given. Abort"

This is the wvdial.conf
