thanx a lot Saad for the tip. you're right about the phpBB, but what are the other choices ???? regading the Typo3 ... I'll try to download it next week and give it a try ... I really liked Joomla... it was extreemly easy to configure and maintain ... but I have never noticed that it is slow !!! I really hate the PHPNuke ... it need a lot of configuration plus it has a lot of bugs ... and it's not completly FREE so we need something that it 100% free to use ...
and about the hosting ... does the current host support PHP and MySQL ??? that's a question I have forgot to ask ....
see ya guys

Do not consider phpbb, because its a insecure application and has many vulnerabilities, joomla is a good CMA, but i feel that, joomla based websites are very heavy.
by the way have you checked out typo3?

thank you guys for being interested in my proposal. Special thanks to you Yousef.

I really feel sorry for missing the meetings, but insha2 allah I'll never miss another one.

And if you guys can post the meeting's date at least one week prior, I have a very busy schedule < am I acting like a very important guy??? ;)>

Regarding my work as a programmer well most of my work was on the ERP systems so you won't find anything published or else I'll go to jail ;) my favorite language is Java, I'm also a Certified Oracle Developer (OCP) I have recently moved to a new company that is using the .NET technologies it's kind of easy and fast in development but I still can't trust it. I'm also trying to learn PHP in my spare time, working on a small project on Java (very slow but insha2 allah it will become great) it's a P2P application.

Regarding the office well Yousef if you can contact me so we can see what we
can do for the website. I found this CMS application "Joomla.org" I think it's more than enough for the website, PHPBB is the best Forum you can use. On-Line chat is not a bad idea but it will look obsolete of there's no one in the room to help people and to deal with their problems so we don't need it now.

Am I talking like I own this LUG's website???

You can find me on the Yahoo! Messenger nearly for the whole day. Feel free to contact me at any time Yousef or any of you guys.

See ya

Well you really missed two meetings but I would like to assure you that

we are not sleeping anymore. We are scheduling the plan for this new

school year in shaa Allah.

We will be having several meetings and workshops as well.

Nice to hear about you and welcome to the group. As far as programming,

what do you program in? What language? Do you have any projects that is

available online or somewhere else?
