First of all, you have to select a Linux distribution to work with
(Preferably I would recommend FreeBSD www.FreeBSD.org ). However, as a
beginner, I suggest you give Ubuntu Linux a try <www.ubuntu.com>, make
sure you use the Desktop Version 6.10.
As far as dual booting, you can always refer to their documentation web
site:
