I will be the first to apologize for that announcement. Warren and myself are not very happy about that one. Neither of us have posted it.....and I do not have the power to remove it...Warren may remove it from the front page if he remembers to. Neither of us like direct comparisons with other distros. As Warren said in our conversation it goes beyond comparing Ubuntu vs MEPIS....it goes down to KDE vs Gnome and we dont like to get into those things. On a personal note, and I speak soley for myself, I didnt even think the review was a very good review. It was heavily biased and flat out rude. Again personally I dont think that review deserves to be on the front page of the MEPIS site especially since it pushes our newsworthy stories lower down on the page. MEPIS attending LinuxWorld Boston and our new test releases I believe are much more important then that review. Of course one of our blackeyes had to be on this night. UPDATE: I just called Warren back and asked him to remove the article from the front page. We both agreed that it was in appropriate for that article to be placed on there. It has been removed from the front page. Matt Brian Pack wrote: >On Thursday 03 February 2005 08:57 pm, Matthew D.
