Here's my implementation of gdesklets, with the shell open:

The desklets on the right-hand side are the Side Candy series. The clock and
CPU meter are part of the original Side Candy package. The disk info (aka
mount), POP mail, Gmail (currently broken. Gmail made a change that broke
libgmail), and net info desklets are seperate desklets.

I'm also running the LT CPU temp and HDD temp desklets, and the LT LM-sensors
for the fan sensors. These are from the gdesklets-data package, and are among
the few LT desklets that still work with the latest gdesklets (0.34.3).

The news feeds are from News Grab, and the weather is from GoodWeather.

Side Candy, News Grab and GoodWeather are all available on the gdesklets web
site at http://gdesklets.gnomedesktop.org.
