new guy

hi everyone, this is Rob, the new guy from the meeting
last night. Robin and I would like to thank everyone
for welcoming us to Morlug.

I had a question, I was wondering if anyone knows of a
local place I could buy a optical drive for a laptop.
I picked up a couple compaq Ipaq mini desktop systems
off ebay to play with and only one had a cd drive in
it, and it is in questionable shape. it doesnt take a
standard desktop drive, but one from a laptop. I'd
like to be able to find one here in town so I could
use it now rather than waiting on shipping from new
egg.
