I'm glad you mentioned CW because it may be the exact topic we could
cover at our next meeting on June 29th.  This subject has arisen several
times within our group.  In fact, the wireless spot at the Blue Moose
was set-up by Morlug members.  Doing this on a larger scale would take
some coordination.   For awhile Shane Spencer, who set-up wireless for
the whole island of Saint Paul hung around our group:

recently Ed Bosco gave a impromptu demonstration of a reflector at our
five-minute lightning talks.

Anyways, unless I hear any other suggestions for the June meeting I
think a round-table meeting about wireless would be timely:

I'm not an expert about this subject at all, I don't even own a laptop
or a wireless card .. but here are some things that could be covered:

1.  Technologies that could be used:  homemade vs commercial
2.  Types of software involved.
3.  Licensing issues and how to obtain free bandwidth from providers.
4.  .....
.....

involved in the Morgantown Free Radio  Collective.  He would be the guy
to talk to about this topic.  Also, Peter Hein was talking about setting

I like recommending dyne:bolic because it is one of the most innovative
of the live-cds I've found .. doesn't use an actual distribution and is
multi-media oriented.  :)
